Hey folks! I'm so sorry I've been off the radar with DA for so long, it's been hellishly busy on my end, juggling in between jobs, gearing up for college, and stuff of the like.

1. What is your name?
Mitchell Byrom. People sometimes call me 'Mitch', or 'Bitch', depends on who's talking to me.

2. Do you know why you were named like that?
I don't think 'Thing 1' would have been a very appropriate name, so they gave me that.

3. Single or taken?
Single. Next.

4. Have any abilities or powers?
What the f*ck is this, a comic book? Unless you count playing guitar as a superpower, then no.

5. Stop being a Mary Sue!
Who is Mary Sue? Is that another ex I'm not aware of?

6. What's your eye colour?
Uh, green.

7. What's your hair colour?
I'm a shark. Not really in my genes to have any hair whatsoever.

8. Do you have any family members?
Dad. Don't know where Mom is, if she's still out there, or what she even looks like. 

9. Oh? Have any pets?
Nope.

Hmm... mud. Long story.

11. What are your hobbies?
Music and cars. Music because it's kind of my job, and if you don't like your job, then why do it? Cars because it gives my hands something to do when I get bored of music.

12. Have you ever hurt anyone in anyway?
A few, some more so than others. My most recent one was the singer in my last band 'The Basterds', after he fired me out of my own band to get a recording label. I cracked my guitar over his head. Multiple times.

13. Ever killed anyone before?
Not to my knowledge. Dear God, I hope not!

14. What kind of animal are you?
Mako/thrasher mix. Mako from my mom, thrasher from my dad. Probably something else in there too, you never know!

15. Name your worst habits?
 I strive for perfection in music and rhythm. I'm a rhythm guitar player, what do you expect?

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?
Malcolm Young. He's a freaking human metronome!

17. Do you go to school? 
Not currently, and I better not! I'm almost 23, dammit!

18. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?
As of currently, HELL to the NAH.

19.Do you have fangirls/fanboys?
If you count a few drunks at a bar who were so off their face on booze they could have jumped over the moon, then no.

20. What are you most afraid of?
Heights. F*ck anyone who forces me to a high up place.

21.What do you wear mostly?
T-shirts, jeans, and boots. Sometimes my old leather jacket if it's a little chilly out.

22. What's one food that tempts you?
Cheeseburgers. Seriously, if you value your money, don't get me into a burger joint! I'll eat the place down to the bone!

23. Am I annoying you?
Maybe a little.

That's a little rude, but... uh, upper lower/lower middle class, probably. Depends on how much we get paid for our gig the previous night!

Only five, and they are all my bandmates.

Hey folks. Just thought I'd give you a little update.

A lot has been on my mind over the past month, and all of it has not been good.

My college career is hanging by threads now. I failed at Graphic Design, so we can mark that one off the list. The teachers graded me so harshly, so poorly, and so badly I seriously started to doubt my drawing ability, and whether of not I should continue art or not, even for fun.

Tying into that, my parents, who have usually been so supportive of me, have lost faith in me. They always said that I could do things, and do them well, but that claim seems very, very far away after this past month.

I also had several of my friends die for their own specific reasons over the past month. Car crashes, suicide, freak accidents, you name it. I've never been more alone than I am now in this backwater shithole of a town.

As a result of all this, depression grabbed hold like never before, and I started going back down that slippery slope I swore to myself I would never go back down.

So now, here we are.

Before you guys ask, I'm ok. Seriously, I'm not going to do anything... suggestive.

I will not let this thing beat me.

I will get better.
I will get tougher.
And I will not give up.

There's a store called Happy Monday Store, and they've been stealing other people's artwork, posting them on shirts, and selling them with no credit to the original artist. Please spread the word!

Hey folks!

Again, another status update! 

I think my art teachers have sensed my apprehension towards them, and at least one of them has made an attempt to understand and approach me. Angsty teen problems, I know. But I've been getting better over these past weeks. I've been drawing again, mostly for my classes, but it's been getting better and better every day. 

I'm also a very firm believer in 'you get what you give', and quite frankly, I'm sick and tired of sitting on my butt all mopey-dopey and wishing how I wasn't so depressed all the time, and knowing I could be a better, happier person if I just made a few small changes.

So, I've decided to take those changes in stride.

We'll see how well this goes. I cannot thank all of my friends enough for sticking by me, mainly , , and . Seriously, you guys are awesome.

Hey folks!

Just thought I'd share a little status update with you all, so you all know how I'm doing!

As some of you may have noticed, my DeviantART account has not been terribly active lately, and I sincerely apologize for that. The creative thoughts and ideas have all but completely left me, and it's been hard to come up with art for my two art classes in college right now. Most of that boils down to my poor excuses for teachers, but maybe I'm being a bit harsh with them.

Maybe they don't teach well enough, but then again, maybe I don't listen? Maybe they seem conceited and up tight about everything, but maybe I'm just not open-minded enough? I'd like to think that they are at fault, but there's also a very good chance that I'm not without blame here.

No matter which way you slice it, in essence, I'm just burned out. It's a pain to even draw anything anymore.

I'm definitely taking a break from DeviantART. I'll focus on getting these classes out of the way, but after that, I don't know what will happen. I'll try drawing to get me back in the groove, so I can enjoy it again, but that won't happen for a long time.
